I sit here bleary eyed with a sinus headache. The kids were sick with the cold/flu last weekend and with them breathing and coughing all over me this week, it got me this weekend. I've had a runny/stuffy nose, sinus pressure and headache. (In case you care...). I was really bummed because we had a fun Saturday planned. I was determined to still go though because we had postponed it from last weekend.
We had planned to go to a park to play soccer and have a picnic. We had also wanted to drive the kids out to see the temple. But, it is quite a drive out there, so that will have to wait another day.
We are signing Monkey #1 up for soccer this spring. He got a soccer ball for Christmas and so we went to the park and hubby helped show him how to kick the ball right. Don't you love the beautiful yellow grass!!
Monkey #2 had a blast collecting all of the pinecones in sight.
The park also had a big lake with ducks in it. There was a trail you could walk around and look at the ducks. The boys were a little scared to get too close to the edge.
I will post some yummy recipes I made for the Superbowl later this week.

Man I miss you guys. I think our grass is a little greener here and its even been drenched in snow :) That's so exciting about soccer this year, I bet he will love it! I am sorry you caught the bug and I hope you get feeling better really soon! *hugs*
