Recently Monkey #2 learned to ride his bike. We wondered if he would ever learn.... we've tried working with him on it, but he hasn't been able to balance. Then one Saturday, hubby decided to try it again. He didn't think it was going to happen again, but then Monkey #2 started going! He didn't have any problems after that. He rode the whole day!
We've watched two really awesome movies recently that I wanted to blog about.
The first one is October Baby.
This was a really touching movie. I don't know if it's because I'm pregnant or not, but I bawled a lot during it. It's about a young girl trying to find out about her past and things that were hidden from her. She goes on a journey to find herself and who she really is. I think everyone should see this movie. It was very clean, no swearing bedroom scenes or anything.
The next movie I recommend is Here Comes The Boom.
If your a fan of Kevin James, you will want to see this movie. I think he is hilarious and we really liked this movie. He is a slacker high school teacher who turns to fighting (boxing) to raise money for the school's music teacher. It is rated PG and would be a good movie to rent!!

Yay, I love movie reviews, it's so hard to find good ones! I've been wanting to see October Baby but hadn't heard of the other (we don't have tv and very limited movie selections here) we're doing Netflix for now and I'm running out of things to put in my queue, so thanks!
ReplyDeleteThat's really exciting for monkey #2! I still remember when dad taught me to ride a bike... good memories for a kid :) Have you ever seen the movie Warrior? Gabe and I love it. It's not PG, but you should check it out. Here comes the boom reminded me of it because it has some similarities in the storyline. Love you!
