Learning Letters And Their Sounds

I did a great activity with Monkey #2 last week.  We have been focusing a lot on his letters and their sounds.      There are a few he is struggling with and I found this great activity that we had a lot of fun with.  The website I got the printables from is The Activity Mom.

You print out either sheets of  Uppercase or Lowercase letters.  Then make up matching letters that can be drawn out of a bowl, hat, bucket etc.  Your child will then mark off what letter they choose by using stamps, stickers, Do a Dot markers etc.  I had Monkey #2 say what sound the letter made after he drew the card out too.  It is a really cute activity for preschoolers!

Another great website that I have been loving is Teachers Pay TeachersIt has a lot of great activities that you can download and print out for free.  You will need to set up a log in and from there to see the free stuff go to Browse Items, Free Downloads.  There are a TON of things that are for free and some that you can buy.
